Yeshiva Live is a live streaming webcam located in the main study hall of the Jewish studies institute known as Yeshiva Tiferes Menachem. In the classic Yeshiva tradition students learn from original Jewish texts and engage in detailed and often elaborate discussions in order to better understand the foundation of Judaism, which is the observance of the mitzvoth. Daily study includes classes on the Five Books of Moses, Jewish mysticism, Talmud, and Jewish law. In addition, there are many informal lectures on Jewish thought and lifestyle.

Yeshiva Live captures these classes and lectures and presents them to you streamed live over the internet. More than this...you can interact in real time with the classes by utilizing the text messaging available with the live stream.

When you click to launch the live broadcast a window will pop-up with the live broadcast and a login for interactive text messaging. Log in and the text messaging box will appear allowing you to interact with the current session. If for some reason the messaging box doesn't appear then the feature is not presently available. You can try again at a later time. You will also need the Windows Media Player and preferably an internet connection that allows for a 141K or greater stream in order to view the video content.

If you experience any difficulties in accessing the stream, please don't hesitate to contact us for technical support.
