Donating Stocks & Bonds to Tiferes

When securities are held by your broker or bank

1) Prior to initiating your gift, please call our office at (718) 333-1176. Tiferes Menachem needs advance notice of transfers in order to set them up with our bank and to acknowledge your gift properly and in a timely manner.

2) Notify your broker that you want to make a gift of stocks or bonds to Tiferes Menachem and instruct your broker to transfer the securities, if DTC-eligible, to Tiferes' account with U.S. Clearing, a division of Fleet Securities, Inc. in New York. Your broker will need the following information:

When securities are held by you and the physical certificates are in your possession

1) Send the unendorsed stock certificate(s) or bond(s) either by regular or registered mail, together with a letter stating that you are making a gift of securities to Tiferes and the purpose of the gift, to the address below:

2) Under separate cover, send a stock or bond power for each stock certificate or bond to the same address. You may obtain blank stock powers from your bank or broker.

· Except for your signature on the power (and a bank or brokerage firm's signature guarantee), do not complete the stock or bond power form.

· Please enclose a copy of the stock certificate transmittal letter with the signed power.
